VIDEO OF THE WEEK - "TAWIAH"

I am beyond a Hip-Hop head but at the same time i am very open to the experience of all music. Especially from people of different cultures and back grounds. When i was younger in high school i had some friends i used to skateboard with and they used to make me punk cassettes all the time. So many times i tend to run accross music in the most unlikely places. Recently i have almost liked everything i have heard coming from the UK (united Kingdom) which brings me to the video of the week. Actually a real nice performance TGFT (THank god for technology) . Some times to get quantity you have to look outside your box..okay do it now : ) (smile) ... her name is TAWIAH-Born in Battersea and a former member of the Brit School peforming academy in London, Tawiah's soul stylings have caught the attention of producers such as Mark Ronson, having toured as part of his live band. She has also sung back up for Corinne Bailey Rae and The Guillemots. PEEP the nice performance below . ...
